Hello World Kids coordinated with the Ministry of Education to embed Hello World Kids curriculum as a core school subject in public schools for the elementary stage, for the academic year 2017 – 2018. As part of implementing the project, Hello World Kids in partnership with specialized institutions, conducted comprehensive training courses to qualify teachers who will be tutoring the curriculum.
HE Minister of Education Dr. Omar Razzaz said that the project is a “pioneering step” for Jordan and the region, and comes at a time when developed countries have started adopting and supporting computer programming education for children.
This adaption puts Jordan in an advanced position in teaching programming for kids across the region, hoping to build a generation that better understands the technology they use and encourage them to become technology producers.
Implementing the project in Jordan was sponsored by the Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) and in partnership with Queen Rania Teachers Academy (QRTA).
